Is it all because of the AI revolution?… In my opinion — yes, but not only that.

Shutterstock just launched a fixed plan for $69/month, offering unlimited downloads of images, videos, music, and more.

Sounds minor? Think again.

This could be a tectonic shift — it’s Shutterstock, after all.

For years, we’ve all paid a fortune for every single image, and practically taken out a mortgage for a 12-second video clip.

The first to truly break that model and integrate its entire content library seamlessly into the platform was Canva.

Now, in a world where AI can generate anything you dream of for your next campaign — who’s still paying $15 for a stock photo?

My prediction: the next big disruption will come from Adobe — especially Photoshop.

Yes, they added AI features quickly, but the interface still feels like a relic of the old world.

And the “exclusive” features Photoshop once owned? They’ve already made their way to simpler, faster, and more accessible tools.

The creative world is changing — fast, the question is: will traditional giants adapt… or be replaced?

What do you think — are we entering a new creative economy, or witnessing the end of the old one?
